Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional people-centric Site HR Lead for our Shreveport location. This role will report to Head HR for North America.

Responsibilities:

Organization Design and workforce budgeting

  • Participate in human resources planning & budgeting exercise with focus on productivity and optimum utilization of manpower.

  • Assess talent needs of the business/function by following Org design principles and work with TAT in ensuring optimum staffing levels.

  • Support alignment of organization design to business strategy. Identify issues and process gaps to improve alignment, manpower productivity and minimize redundancies.

  • Support business teams in alignment of organization design to business strategy.

Talent Management

  • Attracting and inducting high quality talent into the organization.

  • Recruitment & Hiring: Support and manage the recruitment, interviewing and selection of exempt and non-exempt personnel, students and temporary workers; test candidates for key Operations’ positions; onboarding of new hires and temporary workers by conducting new-employee orientation & follow up; support the ex-pat program

  • Support line managers in forecasting and planning talent pipeline requirements.

  • Participate in Talent Management Board process: Talent review including Hi-po, young talent etc. identification, competency assessment, closure on feedback and creation of individual development plans.

  • Support in building the talent pipeline for critical positions by developing robust career & succession planning mechanisms.

    Performance Management

  • Participate in the performance management process with regard to goal setting, performance discussions, yearly reviews and consequence management.

  • Coach, Counsel, and enable managers at various stages of the Performance management process.

  • Develop programs / measures in consultation with HR leadership & verticals heads in enhancing / improving organization performance.

  • Back-up Comp & Benefits Coordinator including but not limited to Payroll, Benefits and Administering the State of Louisiana Quality Job and Enterprise Zone programs to include monthly reports and associated annual report filing.

Employee Engagement and Communication

  • Engaging with the leadership team and managing expectations.

  • Proactive HR sensing and addressing employee grievances/concerns etc.

  • Organize the Skip level meetings, pulse meetings and other organizational health surveys.

HR Analytics & MIS

  • Review of periodic HR MIS, reports and analysis for the respective customer groups.

  • Discover the underlying reasons for employee attrition and identify high-value employees at risk of leaving and design retention measure.

Employee Relations & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure applicable labor laws are complied with in the site.

  • Maintain harmonious industrial relations.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Post-Graduation in HR

Minimum work experience: 10 years of progressive HR experience

Skills & Attributes:

  • Previous experience of leading HR in a pharma plant. Led teams.

  • Handled Regulatory/ compliance audits (like US FDA MHRA etc)

  • Possess basic labor and employment law knowledge or have earned any certification on this

  • Must be proficient in oral and written communication

  • Must maintain confidential information and be effective in relationship development and management

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with HR informational systems; SAP experience preferred
