Job Summary

Under indirect supervision performs intermediate level installation, maintenance and repair of various Telecommunications and IT related equipment using accepted practices and procedures.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform basic to intermediate installation, system testing, troubleshooting, and technology issue resolution. Produce required documentation.

  • Work to gain knowledge and understanding of various Telecommunications/IT technologies and business processes.

  • Use existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.

  • Assist in database and record keeping systems for work and asset tracking. Participate in cross-training of various telecommunications and IT systems.

Minimum Requirements:

Education : Associate's degree in computer science, electrical/electronics engineering/technology or related field of study; or technical degree/certificate, or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.

Experience: In addition to any experience required above, 2 years' technical or relevant work experience is required.
