We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Tester based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves meticulous testing of Order Management applications and maintaining the quality of our software products. You will be working in a hybrid environment, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Execute manual testing of Order Management application with a strong understanding of its functionalities.

• Conduct end-to-end testing in an integrated application environment, including both front-end web applications and back-end processing systems.

• Review User stories, use cases, User Design, functional and technical requirement documents for testability.

• Draft comprehensive and well-structured test scenarios, plans, test cases and test schedules.

• Create test data for front end and back-end applications.

• Coordinate and execute all required testing activities in accordance with the test plan.

• Utilize technologies such as XML, JSON, SOAPUI and POSTMAN for testing.

• Write SQL queries of medium complexities to validate database tables in upstream and downstream applications.

• Identify testing risks and devise mitigation plans to minimize them.

• Record defects with clear articulation and definition of each issue, coordinating with the Product Delivery Lead and Business System Analyst to ensure resolution.

• Verify that end-user experience meets expectations during testing as well as post-implementation.

• Demonstrate the product to the business team prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and extend testing support for UAT to business teams.

• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the Product.

• Participate in daily stand-ups to communicate testing progress and status.

• Build strong relationships with the product team and business team to understand product requirements.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role for a minimum of 7 years

• Strong knowledge of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) and XML (EXtensible Markup Language)

• Proficiency in using testing tools such as Soap UI and Postman

• Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne software and Order Management systems

• Solid understanding and practical experience with SQL

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

• Excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

• Strong organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
