Philips Product Industrialization Engineer in Shenzhen, China
Your role:
Initiates and leads process development activities.
Initiates Capex optimization for initial investments.
Ensures adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications and release.
Initiates Design for Lean Manufacturing in PDLM processes.
Accountable for Process Requirements based on Product Specifications from I&D and Manufacturing Requirements.
Accountable for process and equipment capability that meets Requirements.
Applies lean manufacturing principles. Orchestrates design for lean manufacturing with according inputs to PDLM workflows.
Responsible for MF BOM, routing Master data towards release.
Is accountable for establishing Inspection and Test Criteria for Philips owned components and assemblies
Accountable for implementation of design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers driven by PDLM governed projects.
Responsible for resources, planning, quality and cost (including Capex) for Industrialization Projects.
Executes the processes and standards in adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies.
You're the right fit if:
We are looking for a highly professional product industrialization engineer with
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, product development, or industrial engineering in relevant domains, like consumer electronics product or medical device.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulations.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, and statistical process control (SPC).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
Good knowledge on QMS (quality management system), like ISO9001, ISO13485, etc.
Familiarity with automation manufacture, robotics, and ERP/MES systems is plus.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
