As Senior Manager, International Tax this position will be based in Shelton, CT, and report to the Global Head of Tax/VP of Tax. This position will focus on non-French and non-US tax provisions, compliance, and controversy. Job responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Work closely with the Group's local country finance team and external advisors to manage the preparation and review of tax provision calculations for all non-French and non-US entities, forecasting and monitoring foreign effective tax rates and cash taxes.

  • Collaborate with the US and French Tax team to Develop Global ETR

  • Develop and manage work plans and assist in implementing international tax planning projects.

  • Assist with potential mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration projects.

  • Assist with internal and external audit requests (foreign).

  • Keep a tracker of tax audits.

  • Manage Global compliance.

  • Lead tax transformation projects

  • Perform technical research and prepared tax technical memorandum documenting various international tax position

  • Work closely with the TP team to oversee a TP policy and its implementation at the country level. Assist with TP calculations.

  • Implement TP adjustments for new operational flows.

  • Monitor and evaluate international tax law developments and assist with modeling impacts.

  • Manage foreign tax attributes to support cross-border tax reorganizations and cash repatriation.

  • Oversee Pillar 2 reporting and compliance requirements

  • Participate in projects to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions that will help automate, streamline, and improve tax processes.

  • Prepare spreadsheet analyses & reports used for tax projects as needed.

  • Collaborate on Transfer Pricing to advise on strategies for intercompany transactions.

  • Work closely with finance controllers on Data Automation to drive transformation and leverage your tax knowledge to improve data collection for the challenges of new global reporting requirements.

  • Ensure effective tax internal controls and documents and manage uncertain tax positions.

  • Compute and reconcile extension and quarterly estimated tax liabilities and ensure timely filing/payment

  • Oversight of international tax compliance and reporting requirements, including management of timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a multinational corporate tax department and an accounting firm.

  • Expert in ASC 740 Tax Accounting

  • Experience with IFRS

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead and develop a team.

  • Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment.

  • Proficient Excel skills

  • Proficient with Hyperion
