Job Overview

Sells products by maintaining and expanding customer base. Accountable for achieving the Regional sales and profitability goals. In addition to providing market feedback for support and development of new products within the Hipotronics product line.

This is a remote role and preference of location is the mid-west region (preferrable Texas) but open to other locations to support the business easy access to major airports

A Day In The Life

  • Attain the yearly sales goals for the territory.

  • Operate as a teammate within the Sales department, pitch in where needed.

  • Generate price proposals and quotations to customers.

  • Provide technical (specifications) documentation for the quotes.

  • Interface with marketing and engineering on technical issues.

  • Provide market feedback and write technical specifications for new products.

  • Correspond with customers, agents and regional manages as needed.

  • Identify and report issues that may impact our ability to meet customer requirements.

  • Participate at technical symposia and trade exhibitions.

  • Provide written and oral reports as needed.

  • Promote a safe working environment and follow all established Company safety policies, procedures and practices.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Engineer (EE preferred) or business background in technical field with minimum of 5 years in technical or sales roles

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact and maintain effective relationships with other employees

  • Excellent sales and application skills

  • Excellent Microsoft office skills; Excel, WORD and creating PDF files, required

  • Willingness to help with different aspects of the business, team player

  • Ability to think independently, help solve problems to support our customers

  • Bilingual in Spanish a desire
