TheTIGWelder is responsible for the daily setup and operation ofTIGwelding to complete productionweldmentjobs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan sequence of steps to perform duties according to blueprints.
- Set up and adjust welding parameters.
- Operate various welding, soldering or brazing equipment.
- Use various precision measuring equipment to check work.
- Operate equipment to grind, file, and adjust fixtures and parts to specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma,GEDor equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
- PreviousTIGWelding experience required;AWSTIGCertification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as layouts, blueprints, sketches and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and circumference.
- Ability to operate various equipment to include welding equipment, forklift, hoists, hand and power tools.
