Bay Pointe Busser/Expo in Shelbyville, Michigan
We are looking for a Busser/Expo person to support our wait staff and set up our dining areas, assist in running food, and clear and re-set tables. Busser responsibilities include clearing glasses and silverware when no longer in use, refilling beverages and cleaning tables once guests leave. Expo consists of running plated food out to the tables and announcing the dish and delivering it to the Guest. Responsibilities
- Re-set tables once guests leave
- Place plates, silverware on table to re-set it
- Wipe down and sanitize tables after every use
- Refill waters as needed
- Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
- Run food out to tables, announcing the dishes name as you deliver it
- Clearing dirty plates and bringing them back to the Dish tank to be cleaned
Skills
- Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus, but we will train a motivated candidate.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $10.00 per hour, plus tips
