Job Description

Danfoss – Shawnee, OK is looking for a Production Planner. As Production Planner you will be responsible to Ensure the execution of the production planning schedule in alignment with customer due dates and productivity goals. Monitor finished goods inventories at their optimum levels to maintain desired on-time delivery (OTD) and customer service levels.

Job Responsibilities

• Create production schedules to fulfill customer needs while achieving productivity goals.

• Ensure timely provision of the production schedule.

• Address customer escalations as needed.

• Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTD and sales.

• Collaborate with different departments to achieve sales goals and meet customer requirements.

• Project sales at the end of the month for areas under responsibility.

• Ensure department activities comply with the Quality Management System (QMS) standards (ISO-9001 and IATF16949) and are aligned with the strategic direction of the organization and business context.

• Ensure quality management system requirements and resources are fully integrated and available within all business processes.

• If scheduling suppliers/contractors at the plant premises, ensure compliance with EHS requirements and oversee the execution, inspection, and monitoring of work.

• Education: High school diploma / GED

• Experience: 3-5 years in the materials area.

• Technical Knowledge:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• SAP knowledge preferred or experience with other ERP systems.

• Experience with MRP, MPS, Min-Max tools, and forecasting tools.

• APICS CPIM Certification is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Highly advanced analytical and cognitive skills.

• Strong communication skills.

• Sense of urgency.

• Negotiation skills and experience with suppliers and customers.

• Proactive and organized.

• Team player.
