Emerson Strategic Planning Manager AP in Shanghai, China

If you are a professional Strategic Planner seeking opportunities for growth, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shanghai office in China, the position plays a crucial leadership role responsible for guiding and leading all aspects of the development, implementation, and management of critical initiatives in the organization. As a Strategic Planning Manager, you will support the Emerson Management Process by collaborating with executive leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies that drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence. You will also play a meaningful role crafting the organization's long-term vision and ensuring alignment between strategic goals and day-to-day operations.

  • In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

Include providing strategic vision and leadership by developing and implementing growth plans aligned with Asia Pacific's strategic goals. Additionally, conducting market analysis and opportunity assessment to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, as well as driving central initiatives' development through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • For this position, the following qualifications are required

Crucial Skills/Abilities

Proven expertise in strategic planning, robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Outstanding leadership and collaboration skills, exceptional strategic sophisticated, and business insight.

Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation proficiency in English.

Sophisticated proficiency in market research and competitive analysis methodologies.

High level of self-motivation, capable of frequent travel within Asia Pacific and globally.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, MBA preferred.

Proven 5 years of experience in relevant industries, with a preference for Electrical industry.
