The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 19 overseas stores, and supporting local Sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. In the role of Senior Market Insights Manager, your primary responsibilities will involve develop strategic research planning and performing comprehensive researches to extract distinctive market insights. These insights will be instrumental in enhancing Seller-facing products and services. Additionally, you will be tasked with recognizing potential opportunities, tracking movements within the Cross Border eCommerce (CBEC) sector, and provide early alert. Furthermore, adeptness in managing intricate and undefined tasks independently will be essential. This role demands a strong business acumen, profound interest in understanding Seller behaviors and viewpoints, establishing close ties within Seller communities, exceptional influencing abilities, and the analytical skills required to formulate strategic business recommendations

Key job responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute market research plans, including quantitative, qualitative and social listening methods.

  2. Analyze Seller data, segmentation, and behavior to provide valuable insights.

  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making processes.

  4. Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay ahead in the market.

  5. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to key stakeholders.

  6. Develop frameworks and tools to measure and track performance against KPIs.

  7. Stay updated on industry best practices and innovative methodologies in market research.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in market research, consumer insights, or related roles.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in market research tools and methodologies.

  • Experience in project management and working in cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing or product management field
