This position is ideal for an energetic and experienced professional with Semiconductor equipment sales background who is capable of directing a highly skilled team of account management whose task is to drive business growth, lead creation and account management throughout China for Semiconductor. The Director will develop growth strategies and guide the team to execute growth of Thermo Fisher Scientific Semiconductor market share.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with MSD Semi Commercial Leader to drive and support the needs of the sales team, both scientifically and technically.

  • Be an innovator and push boundaries of Electron Microscopy needs for Semi customers.

  • Drive key business initiatives to build pipeline and bookings.

  • Create a growth environment, lead account manager team and coordinate Sales Development and Application team for the development of new strategies to increase market share in Semi.

  • Lead, develop, coach and grow a team of highly skilled account manager to fulfill growth strategies.

  • Lead detailed work plan meetings with team members.

  • Document team activities related to lead creation and sales outcomes.

  • Develop metrics that define business development activities and show growth year over year.

  • Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders at the highest levels in Semi.

  • Ensure the maintenance of global leading knowledge in Semi.

  • Develop and run regular sales/business development/applications support meetings, in alignment and collaboration with MSD Electron Microscopy Commercial Leader and the Business Unit, to meet the needs of sales growth.

  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders inside company.

  • Candidate must exhibit comfort in inspection section Semi strategy, practical process improvement with a disciplined approach to driving sales.

  • Work with Marketing team on marketing events to develop marketing strategy.

  • Take part and contribute to global and regional sales and strategy meetings as needed. Inspires, Influence and motivate employees within the depart and across functions to meet and exceed objectives.

  • Assigns the appropriate expertise and leaders to ensure success, optimize time to market and provide growth opportunities to employees.

  • Attracts, engages, develops, and retains top talent at all levels of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum master’s degree with Material, Chemistry, Engineering or Electronics.

  • 15 years+ experiences in Semi industry with majority experiences in sales function.

  • Exhibited creative growth strategy experience.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with senior executive level team members.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain deep customer relationships, credibility and trust.

  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally when required and possess both drivers license and valid passport.

  • Travel requirement, approximately 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven team leader with creative business/sales development strategy skills utilizing process improvement strategies.

  • Trained in Miller Heiman strategic selling coaching.
