Ohio Farmers Insurance Company Seasonal Golf Attendant: Cart Barn - Westfield Country Club in Seville, Ohio

This position is anticipated to work through end of season (October/November) The Golf Attendant is responsible for performing duties related to company's Country Club Golf Operations. The role assists agents, employees, members and guests with their golf experience and handles various tasks that include the operational areas of the cart barn, golf shop, practice facility, first tee, and locker room. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a golf course and providing assistance to players. Starting salary of $11.00 - $13.00 an hour plus tips. Performs duties which include golf cart and practice facility preparation, tee time management, organization of member and guest lockers, starting golfers rounds on the first tee, and constant communication via radio with the company golf team. Maintains the overall appearance and condition of the golf course. This can include tasks such as repairing divots, raking bunkers, mowing grass, watering greens, and picking up litter. Greets members, employees, agents and guests and provides immediate attention as necessary in accordance with the Hospitality standards. Ensures the safety of players on the course by patrolling the course, especially during busy times, to monitor player behavior, prevent accidents, and respond to emergencies. Achieves the high standard of quality, production, cooperation, and service set by Company for our employees, guests and customers. Loads and unloads golfers' clubs, washes club and carts, keeps practice facility stocked with golf balls and helps maintain a consistent appearance. Registers golfers and assigns tee times, organizes merchandise and handles point-of-sale system. Organizes guest and members' lockers, stocks supply, provides shoe care and keeps supervisor fully informed of any carts in need of repair. Complies with all OSHA and company's safety/training/certification standards within required timeframes. Consistently reports to work on time and completes shifts, as scheduled. Performs regular operations of golf carts and/or other maintenance vehicles in order to accomplish other essential functions outlined above. 0 - 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. Possession of a valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.
