Exciting opportunity for a driven candidate who is interested in being at the forefront of leading a business line in the People (HR) function for an industry leader in a fast-growing real estate services company.
The People Business Partner (Advisory), will be responsible for all HR matters, advice and guidance to specific business lines. The role holder will be expected to create, drive and implement strategic People plans and projects for the Korea business. They will partner with both APAC & local COE's in Talent Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and People Operations as well as APAC & local business leadership. This position will report to Korea Head of People.
Position Summary:
Manages the effective implementation of human resources (HR) initiatives, policies and procedures while driving and influencing stakeholders
Performs work that is complex within fast moving and matrix structures & teams
Primary business partners are business line leaders (executive director level), first line supervisors, mid-level managers and People team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides employee relations support, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling.
Conducts investigations regarding discrimination and unfair employment practices.
Responsible for managing several HR projects in rules of employment, labor relations, compensation, training, equal employment/affirmative action, records, safety and health, benefits and employee services.
Assists management & senior leadership in succession planning, talent development, implementation and performance evaluation activities.
Studies feedback and develops strategies that balance the needs of employees and management with relation to employee services and policy alignment.
Evaluates the status and productivity of HR programs and recommends changes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Develops and conducts training for management and employees on a variety of issues including, but not limited to, diversity equity & inclusion, etc.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Strong labor law knowledge, experience and capability to lead & support leadership on employee relations in Korea
Requires strong business acumen to support business strategies in maintaining a HR governance & compliance lens
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability in building relationships and driving influence for stakeholder management and leadership partnership in both Korean & English
Resilience, flexibility and agility is a must due to fast moving environment
At least 1 year HR Business Partner experience, overall more than 5 years HR experience in other functions
