Nike Lead, Finance Korea - Converse in Seoul, South Korea

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Finance Lead in Converse Korea to drive comprehensive and profitable growth in both Nike’s wholesale and digital business, in partnership with cross-functional teams! You should be a highly motivated finance professional with strong communication and analytical skills, the ability to see the bigger picture, a passion for the work at hand, and a positive demeanor.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Korea General Manager by actively interpreting financial outcomes to aid decision-making that aligns with consumer demand and our strategic priorities. Your responsibilities will include leading the annual budgeting and in-year rolling forecasting processes for Nike Korea businesses, as well as identifying risks and opportunities at different forecast gates to support Geo portfolio management.

Additionally, you will manage margin profitability, be involved in the Seasonal Product Game Plan Cycle, set margin targets, drive supply chain efficiencies, and support teams to engineer margin expansion aligned with our overall Asia strategic focus.

You will also oversee all Nike Korea functions’ expense spending and optimize each function's expenditure with proper financial governance. Moreover, you will support key deliverables, including monthly/quarterly closing and business reviews, ensuring timely and high-quality financial reports and insightful updates to the Asia FP&A director/Korea Leadership team to identify themes and storylines.

Lastly, you will serve as a thought partner and financial resource to integrate financial information into the business.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Director, Finance Asia based in China. You will partner with the Korea GM and collaborate with key cross-functional partners in Korea, Commercial, Business Planning, Product and Merchandising, Marketing, Controlling teams and Asia Finance Planning team, in driving growth and profitability of Korea portfolio.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with an emphasis on Finance or accounting.

  • 8+ years’ experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, accounting, strategic planning, or budgeting/forecasting

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a large organization

  • Ability to "connect the dots" from strategic objectives and financial impacts.

  • Sophisticated Excel and financial modeling skills with PowerPoint proficiency

  • Fluent both in Korean and English
