Selinsgrove Center is a Commonwealth-operated facility that is responsible for the care and treatment of approximately 200 individuals with intellectual disabilities, and has a contingency of approximately 700 employees. The center is located in a picturesque location just outside the Borough of Selinsgrove, a short drive from town, Selinsgrove Area Schools, and Susquehanna University.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will be part of the center's executive staff and assist with the planning, review, and development of policies, procedures, and goals for the facility. You will supervise all administrative support service managers, including those in financial management, dietary services, maintenance, housekeeping, transportation, and the office. You will assist in the coordination of administrative services and ensure they are in alignment with department standards; ensure responsible effective cost management for all administrative support services; conduct administrative meetings and participate in meetings with division directors; ensure the proper maintenance of the facility and grounds; and assist in the development of in-house project lists.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six years of professional experience in budgeting, accounting, purchasing, human resources, or management methods work, including three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes three years of supervisory or managerial experience in budgeting, accounting, purchasing, human resources, or management methods work.
