Job Summary This position is responsible for assisting the CareOregon (CO) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by leading the development, scoping, and implementation of executive level, internal corporate initiatives, including related projects, and process improvement. Primary duties include Board and line of business support and executive portfolio leadership as well as development and oversight of resources, relationships, and successful teams. This position actively and regularly participates in strategic planning at the organizational level. This position actively supports the work of the Chief Executive Officer in internal and external management responsibilities. This role is highly collaborative, as it is necessary to support the implementation and improvement of projects and programs across the organization and various lines of business. Essential Responsibilities Board and Line of Business Support & Development Works with CEO to ensure that CareOregon's Line of Business and Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) partners are engaged in the determination, analysis and implementation of corporate initiatives identified by the CareOregon Board of Directors and/or Executive Management. Engages Line of Business and CCO leadership and activates project management staff, as appropriate, to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support. Ensures that business partnerships and programs are well-integrated throughout the organization, as appropriate to fulfill or optimize CareOregon's obligations. Identifies, leads, and supports new business initiatives and strategic opportunities in furtherance of CareOregon's mission. Portfolio Management & Process Improvement Oversees a portfolio of strategic projects and improvement initiatives. Develops and leads a model for a continuum of strategic business support services, including program planning, project management, implementation, process improvement and training. Supports the teams responsible for the full life cycle of projects and promotes high quality, effective and consistent approaches to the discipline of project management across the organization. Identifies, develops, and supports communities of practice. Leads the organization's approach to continuous improvement of business processes. Consults on high-profile, large-scale projects for strategic initiatives to ensure superior outcomes. Promotes process review and refinement. Aligns with executive leaders across the organization to support key strategic initiatives and to ensure business support services are providing high quality service and generating value. Relationship Management Ensures strategic messages are regularly and effectively relayed to management team and staff; promotes transparency.
