Description

Our Fortune 100 enterprise client is seeking a curious senior UX Designer with a passion for learning and inventing. This role will significantly impact our product usability while also assisting in formulating and scaling our team’s standard practices. We value innovative team members who challenge the status quo and simplify complex processes to deliver results. Your prime focus will be to transform the User Experience for Local Infrastructure and Managed Operations (LIMO).

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid-onsite 3 days/week)

Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: $50-56/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

  • Benchmark and shape solutions to complicated customer challenges that align with measurable business outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with product teams, simplifying intricate processes into user-centric scenarios and broad requirements.

  • Establish and elevate high design principles and applicability across the LIMO team.

  • Assume control of the evolution of LIMO's design systems, contributing to a visually impactful language that simplifies user interaction.

  • Harness industry data, market research, user feedback, and usability studies as means to innovate in design.

  • Generate engaging process flows, wireframes, and visual design prototypes that simplify user perception.

  • Develop concise user interaction guidelines to ensure seamless alignment with developers.

  • Effectively present conceptual designs to UX teams, product stakeholders, and senior management for review ensuring their contribution to delivering results.

  • Partner with developers to ensure an elegant transition from design to a final product, constantly learning from the challenges this process involves.

    Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of design experience.

  • A readily available online portfolio showcasing your past commitment to excellence.

  • Experience with prime practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.

  • Experience in every facet of launching designs, from strategy to executing the vision.

  • Prior background working with Amazon, AWS, or equivalent big computing enterprises, or B2B application development is required.

  • A degree or certification is not mandatory, however, real-life industry experience is a must.

  • Strong ability to set effective UX goals, receive positive feedback, and create mock-ups that can easily be coded into the console.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to communicate strategic and tactical recommendations through data-based evidence.

  • Competent in design and prototype tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, ensuring the final product is a hallmark of our commitment to inventiveness and simplicity.

  • Previous designing experience across enterprises with focus on networking and infrastructure services.

  • Experience at Cisco systems, Juniper, Rueben (HP), eero (AWS), or similar organizations, showing your ability to adapt and learn from different settings.

  • Industry awareness is a must, as the ideal candidate will be in a constant learning process.
