Technician Intern Program (TIP), Kent Sites We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth. Interns work directly with our experienced Technicians and Engineers in support of our business units New Shepard, New Glenn, Blue Engines, Lunar Transportation, and Space Systems Development. This internship will last 12 weeks (May-August or June-September) and is full time (40 hours) and onsite. TIP students can support an array of teams, including but not limited to: Machinists, Harness Technicians, CPV Technicians, Machine Operators, and Integration Engineers. We are looking for someone to apply their technical knowledge, development mindset, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Basic Qualifications: Candidates must be a US Persons (US Citizen, US Legal Permanent Resident, or under asylum in the US) Candidates must be over 18 Candidates must be currently enrolled in a vocational or technical program Candidate must have some schooling remaining after the conclusion of the internship Desired: General competency with hand tools and machinery General manufacturing practices General understanding of what an engineering drawing (blueprint) is and its function Basic computer skills (browsers, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office suite, etc.) Introduction to industrial safety (OSHA, etc.) Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
