Amazon Sr Tech Ops Lead, Strategic Accounts Business Operations in Seattle, Washington

AWS Strategic Accounts Business Operations team is seeking an Operations leader to work with Tech Solution teams (Solution Architects) to build and run critical business management cadences including goal setting, key initiatives, monthly business reviews, productivity and revenue impact analysis, to make business recommendations – all in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity. This will include working with the Tech leadership to develop, implement and manage the business processes, systems, reports and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.

The successful candidate must be able to roll-up his/her sleeves, and work directly with the models/data. He/she will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. He/she will be experienced at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them. He/she will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for their customers to other internal parties. Active collaboration with leadership in AWS Business Intelligence, Specialists, Business Development will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities. He/she will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a way that is clear and easy-to-understand.

Key job responsibilities

Sr Tech Ops lead will act as a trusted advisor to support incubation and growth for some of the newest and most innovative areas of the business such as GenAI. You will drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers. This position also manages the administration and execution of the team’s targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various demand generation campaigns and proposing improvements to the Business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in business-process design or equivalent

  • Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
