As the ideal candidate, you will have experience with field, marketing, and internal communications, as well as operationalizing and scaling complex programs across multiple stakeholder teams. You will have demonstrated the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and varying levels of technical depth, in order to create simple, easy-to-use content and assets that can be understood and leveraged by the average AWS employee. To be successful in this position, you need to partner with key stakeholders across the organization and be curious and comfortable diving deep into the business challenges to understand and identify insights that will enable us to deliver results quickly.

This role will sit in Seattle, WA only. Relocation offered to this location only from within the USA only.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage effective processes to broadly disseminate new messaging, updated priorities, and hot topics and track how the field is activating them

• Build mechanisms that eliminate content sprawl by ensuring the highest quality content is always easily accessible to the field and to peer marketing teams.

• Develop and manage effective processes that quickly scale Product Marketing’s ability to partner with Marketing and Field stakeholders in effectively consuming and using priority product marketing messaging in their go-to-market activities.

• Own and coordinate collaboration with stakeholder teams, driving alignment on approved messaging, and identifying optimal routes and cadence for distribution of communications and content with target internal audiences. Stakeholders will include AWS subject matter experts, product marketers, and content managers who are responsible for delivering messages to a large, globally distributed organization.

• Build processes and leverage automation tools that contributes to cross organizational efficiency in driving message unification, prioritization, and distribution across Sales, Marketing and Global Services teams.

A day in the life

You will partner with stakeholders across the AWS Marketing, Worldwide Field Enablement and Sales organizations, and service teams to prioritize messaging and implement processes at scale that prepare sellers around the world to tell AWS’s most important stories to customers and partners. You will work closely with AWS subject matter experts, product marketers, and content managers who are responsible for delivering messages to a large, globally distributed organization. You will use your extensive expertise to develop and manage mechanisms that enable Product Marketing to consistently and efficiently enable field sellers, marketing teams, and internal organizations with our priority messaging. You will work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams, as you analyze and pull data from various data sources to identify insights and drive continuous improvements. You will use your domain expertise and experience to implement repeatable processes and driving automation and standardization to streamline workstreams and deliverables, as you manage programs that have cross-functional and cross-organization impact, including management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and rationalization of risk and critical path management.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
