Interested in working in an innovative and high-impact business that is changing the way customers think about grocery? Amazon is looking for a customer obsessed, and motivated individual to join the Amazon Fresh US Traffic Product Marketing Team.

The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in driving rapid US Amazon Fresh Store growth by managing owned & operated marketing channel campaigning, driving highly qualified traffic to our physical store grocery offerings. This marketing leader will conceive and propose new marketing strategies and concepts, and guide those projects through successful testing and scaled execution. In this role you will be expected to demonstrate analytical acumen, operational excellence, program management, as well as creative skills: you should have the ability to appropriately use marketing science to inform creative decisions and channel strategies.

The right person for this role will have experience with online and offline marketing, making data-driven decisions, and influencing others. They must be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing campaigns with marketing tools, analyzing traffic data and solving problems). Flexibility, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Our team culture is goal-oriented, collaborative and driven to achieve results. The role is office based and MAY be located at any of the following Amazon offices however NYC (Manhattan) and Seattle, WA are preferred: Arlington VA (HQ2), Southern California (San Diego, Santa Monica or Irvine), Austin TX, and Nashville TN.

Key job responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, build, and execute owned & operated channel marketing plans, including creative development, targeting segmentation, and campaign performance analysis

  • Optimize owned and operated marketing across competing high priority content pillars, creating cohesive brand messaging for customers.

  • Deeply understand and articulate the target customer; obsessively understand new and competitive products, trends, and opportunities

  • Understand key traffic drivers (impressions, reach, frequency, clicks, conversion) and how to measure, track, and optimize them to accomplish business goals, document the results, and share best practices across the team.

  • Partner with stakeholders within and outside the team to derive critical insights from Amazon content ranking-engine data and synthesize recommendations to improve campaign performance and reach.

  • Understand how to get the most out of the tools you use to do your job and challenge the existing tool set, successfully working with technical teams to propose and evaluate enhancements that improve efficiency and functionality.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
