Amazon Business launched in 2015 and has grown significantly, surpassing $35B in sales and attracting millions of business customers. The BISS category offers a wide variety of products that span almost every business customer vertical and is a major engine of growth for Amazon.

BISS is looking for a Senior Product Manager to transform buying and selling experience across our B2B Medical & Safety categories! You'll spearhead improvements across medical, dental, and occupational safety categories, focusing on both seller and customer experiences. Drive thought leadership and critical initiatives to enhance how businesses purchase BISS supplies while improving efficiency, compliance and trust. You'll also develop solutions that streamline seller processes and journey - from adding the products to uploading documentation and troubleshooting the catalog, ensuring our partners can efficiently provide B2B supplies to customers. The role demands an analytical and ownership mindset to identify functionality gaps, develop compelling business cases, and secure buy-in from leadership, finance, legal, and compliance teams. Finally, you'll partner with tech teams to implement solutions.

Key job responsibilities

The candidate must be comfortable working independently, conducting thorough research, developing solutions and managing complex, cross-functional projects from concept to launch. Key responsibilities are to

○ Own the long-term vision, strategy and roadmap for your portfolio of products, maintain a deep competitive awareness and think big to identify business opportunities worthy of investment.

○ Determine when it is appropriate to build, improve an existing solution, or integrate existing features for a more cohesive end-to-end customer experience.

○ Influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions and make sure business and technology teams are aligned to customer needs.

○ Partner with business and technology stakeholders and leaders across the organization to drive strategic initiatives through leadership and influence.

○ Define mechanisms and metrics to quickly explain your product’s/feature adoption, performance and any variance against goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis methodologies and tools including Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Healthcare Industry Experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
