This team is focused on monitoring and assessing processes that guide Blue Origin's design, manufacturing, and operations, ensuring system safety engineering, environmental health, and safety, product integrity, and continuous improvement processes. In this role under minimum supervision, you will support internal health assessments by performing audits and walk throughs, support continuous improvement efforts, maintain actionable metrics to drive sustainable improvement, monitor and report on test and launch operations, as well as develop and execute stock checks. In this role you will report directly to Director of Quality. Responsibilities: Support engineering teams in managing material review areas and assisting work order closure reviews on aerospace systems and hardware. Develop continuous improvement activities and conduct compliance surveillance assessments. Monitor the replacement of facility and engine hardware ensuring all appropriate safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) precautions and maintenance procedures were adhered to. Perform test stand surveys, ensuring that all areas are within current and applicable standards. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of Blue engines test operations. Qualifications: Minimum of 3+ yrs related Quality experience and relevant education in a related technical field. Quality Assurance experience supporting engine test activities, manufacturing and launch operations environment. Knowledgeable on technical documentation, system configuration and assemblies. Familiarity performing AS9100 or ISO9001 audits within a Quality Management System. Ability to support test and launch operations for non standard shift as required. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification a plus. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Mid quality level experience on maintenance, modifications, dimensional measurements, and inspections. Quality Management System audit experience.
