JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Software Engineer in Seattle, Washington. 

DUTIES:Design, develop, test, and operationally support the solutions that will be composed into the Cloud Services environment. Provide technical guidance to the business unit, IT management and staff at the highest technical level. Work closely with Cloud Services management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes that drive the platform roadmap. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations for changes that would enhance the platform. Provide production and technical support in the case of a serious outage. This requires an experienced professional to assess client requirements and transform them into actionable design items. Independently design solutions over the cloud. Guide junior developers and review their coding, testing, and deployment. Represent team in various forums on technical and non-technical solutions questions.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, or related occupation. Requires experience in the following: Cloud Services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; Java; JSON; UNIX; Junit; Microservices; REST; GIT; Python; SOAP and REST web services; Linux; Cloud Databases; Cloud Messaging; Cloud Caching; Big Data solutions; Continuous Deployment; and Large-scale Distributed Software Systems and Services.
