Purpose Risk and Compliance Analyst plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity and ethical operation of our organization. This position not only supports the Corporate Compliance Program but also ensures our adherence to critical regulations, including Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act. By integrating these regulations into our compliance framework, this roll will contribute to shaping the organization's risk management practices. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, the Risk and Compliance Analyst will drive continuous improvement in compliance initiatives, playing a key role in enhancing organizational transparency, reducing risk exposure, and upholding our commitment to healthcare excellence. Education BA/BS in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Law, Business, Compliance, or similar disciplines). A Master's degree, Juris Doctorate, or paralegal certification with relevant experience Equivalent work experience in compliance, healthcare regulations, or a related field may substitute. Preference will be given to candidates with specialized coursework or certifications in healthcare compliance, risk management, or regulatory law. Years of Experience in Related Field Minimum of 5-7 years experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory compliance, or related field, ideally within the nonprofit sector. Experience with compliance audits, regulatory risk assessment, and implementing cross-departmental compliance processes is highly preferred. Prior work experience in compliance or law preferred Credentials or Certifications Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or other relevant industry certifications are preferred. Candidates with advanced certification or demonstrated expertise in healthcare regulations will be prioritized. Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities and/or Competencies Knowledge of Regulations: In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal healthcare regulations, including Section 1557 and HIPAA, as well as the ability to research and apply new and emerging regulatory standards. Ethical Judgement: Demonstrated ability to uphold ethical standards in regulatory compliance, with a strong commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and the ethical handling of sensitive information. Communication Skills: Advanced communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership teams, preparing compliance reports, and conducting compliance training. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments.
