Insight Global Project Manager - Enterprise Mobility in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager to join one of our largest retail clients on a 100% contract basis in the Seattle, WA area. This person will be joining the Device Management team within the larger Enterprise Mobility and Cloud Infrastructure organization. This team develops processes and procedures for all devices in corporate and retail environments, ensuring device management is more streamlined and efficient. Over the course of 2024, this Project Manager will keep all milestones and deliverables in check for 42 projects total (20 at most in a given time). You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to create and manage projects that solve internal business problems and bring experiences to life for their guests. You will manage risks and dependencies to ensure their teams are working in the most optimal way to deliver value as quickly as possible. Additional responsibilities include:

Manages overall delivery of our Device Management team, within the Enterprise Mobility team

Ensures the objectives of a project are understood, documented, measurable, assigned, & tracked

Manages scope, schedule, budget (actuals and forecast) and risk of DM projects to ensure they are delivered successfully on-time and on budget

Develops relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across regions/time zones (NA, EMEA, APAC, China) and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timelines and business objectives

Leverages Project Management methodology to support the overall delivery from planning through deployment (SLDC)

Example of biggest project: Ensure that all corporate and retail devices are on the latest operating system (laptops, registers, back off computers, RF ID scanners, store laptops, warehouse and distribution center laptops). They will see how many devices they currently have that are "end of life" and need to be replaced and determine which can be upgradable. They will define the testing plan for all of devices to get upgraded and ensure it's done on time and within budget.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Project Manager working in Technology

Previous experience managing waterfall, hybrid, and agile delivery teams

Experience working in a global company with technology teams in India, China, and NA

Passionate for problem solving & ability to excel in an ambiguous environment

Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, multi-program environment with changing priorities

Proven experience managing multiple projects at once Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certification

Previous experience within device management null
