Description
AWS is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive and scale critical initiatives across Amazon business lines. This involves building intake processes and mechanisms along with tracking and managing workflows related to product lines and strategic business agreements. You will drive and develop business models and marketing plans, define and analyze success metrics, manage strategic projects, and own the product initiatives end-to-end. You will ensure critical business deals are on track with different stakeholders throughout various stages.
The successful candidate must have exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. We are looking for a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new, ambiguous projects that will be industry-defining. This position requires a solid technical background, and the candidate should be customer-focused with a passion for the cloud and information technology.

Key job responsibilities
Creating mechanisms to ensure adoption of product and service strategy across various Amazon business units.
Managing the product/sales life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
Launching the vision, product strategy and road map for our products/services and working with key stakeholders in the company to deliver on that vision, e.g. sales, partner team, international site leaders, etc.
Defining program requirements documents based on an intimate knowledge of the specific market segments, target customers, and product
Driving sales by enabling business development and sales teams, leading calls with key customers, creating tools to support the success, helping to identify opportunities to increase that success
Establishing goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success
Research and identify new opportunities for AWS to innovate on behalf of our customers

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Experience with end to end product delivery
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience contributing to executive level discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
