Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Seattle, Washington, 98134-2423, United States. This role is within the financial services industry, with a focus on managing payroll operations using various accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees

• Utilize accounting software systems, including ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian, to streamline payroll processes

• Oversee 401k - RRSP Administration, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

• Perform regular auditing of payroll records and resolve any discrepancies that may arise

• Handle inquiries related to payroll from staff and provide clear, concise responses

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting functions and best practices to improve payroll processes

• Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed

• Handle critical aspects of benefit functions, ensuring employees receive their entitled benefits. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of Ceridian and Dayforce systems

• Proficiency in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Experience with About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions
