Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be doing:

The Patient Appointment Coordinator is responsible for efficiently managing patient appointment schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring a smooth registration and check-in process.

  • Schedule and adjust patient appointments, coordinate clinic schedules, and manage communication with patients regarding appointment changes.

  • Register and consent patients, handle insurance co-pays, and scan registration materials at check-in.

  • Answer multiple phone lines, triage calls appropriately, and use paging systems to communicate effectively with staff.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year of Medical Office experience
