The UW Medical Center - Northwest is seeking nurses to join the specialty training program.

UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a FIRST SHIFT, FULL-TIME, SPECIALTY TRAINING/REGISTERED NURSE (September 2024). Our Operating Room nurses have an opportunity to participate in innovative perioperative technology, and the advancement of patient care through ongoing research, education and quality improvement activities. This includes a variety of surgical procedures. As a registered nurse (RN), you can be a part of this highly skilled team, working within a culture that is collaborative. Here, you will work in tandem with physicians and other health care practitioners to provide superior, nursing care.

This OR Residency/Transition to Practice with the University of Washington Medical Center - Northwest will commence September 23, 2024. You must have an Active WA RN license no later than September 13, 2024 to be eligible .

Please note - This is a Full Time paid training program, Monday - Friday, Day shift. Personal time off during the 17- week program may not be accommodated.

REQUIREMENTS
Requires 2 years acute care nursing experience or previous OR training such as Senior Practicum, Surgical Technician, etc.
