Actalent Mechanical Drafter in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter to join the team at an aerospace composite manufacturing company. As a Mechanical Design Drafter, you will use CAD software to create detailed design drawings for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, contributing to the development of aerospace composite repair equipment, hot bonders, accessories, and materials for the repair of composite structures. You will support engineering prototype builds by assisting in the testing and modification of new products.

Responsibilities

  • Creating Detailed Design Drawings: Use CAD software to develop detailed schematics for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls.

  • Supporting Engineering Prototype Builds: Assist in the testing and modification of new products to improve performance or meet customer requirements.

  • Collaborating with Engineers: Consult with engineers to understand the functionality and structure of mechanical devices or systems.

  • Documenting Technical Files: Maintain technical files for reference and future use.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
