DOCUSIGN, INC. IN SEATTLE, WA SEEKS Lead Backend Engineer (JOB CODE IMB646) TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING JOB DUTIES: Research new software features and backend technologies and write high quality code. Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments. Fix production issues and maintain code as needed. Design and build platform components for customer reporting and data, improving customer effectiveness at deploying and using DocuSign. Support strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional areas. Ensure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects. Participate in technical design and code reviews. Work with Product Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development. Work closely with QA to identify test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes. Work cooperatively with product management and design to create features that are scalable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Masters degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Experience: Six (6) years of software engineering experience.

Experience to include: (1) Backend development in one or more OO programming languages (C#, Java, or C++); (2) Kusto, SQL, and Azure; (3) Large-scale cloud/web-based product development; (4) Big Data and data analysis tools/technologies; (5) Working in an Agile development environment; (6) Git, continuous integration and deployment tools; (7) Unit testing frameworks; and (8) Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C# and SQL Server).
