The Department of Radiology has multiple openings for Fiscal Technician 2.

The Fiscal Technician 2 contributes to the growth and success of the Department of Radiology by executing the mission and vision. The Fiscal Technician 2 will assist the Fiscal Administration Support Team (FAST) and report to the Program Financial Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.)

Fiscal Assignments (95%): • Coordinate purchase of goods and service for the department(s) faculty, staff and students using a variety of methods including ProCard and Workday. • Prepare travel and non-travel expense reports including honorarium from various funds • Communicate clearly and serve as a liaison between UW Procurement Services, buyers, vendors, and purchasing faculty, staff, or students. Maintain open lines of communication and provide regular updates as needed. • Review Procards and CTA accounts. Acquire source documentation from card holders, assure that proper worktags and spend categories are assigned in the Workday and enter the information in Purchase Path. • Record purchasing and reimbursement information for account balance and reconciliation purposes. Check current balances for available funds. Review for accuracy. • Other duties as assigned.

Other Assignments (5%): • This position will be responsible for maintenance of day-to-day office activities and will share responsibilities for special projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma, or GED certificate AND 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

Desired Education/Experience/Skills:
Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience (e.g. Pivot tables, if and lookup formulas, grouping, conditional formatting, hyperlinking, named ranges) Ability to read, understand, and follow guidelines and policies. Positive and collaborative nature Experience with UW systems

Additional Information: Supervision:
This position reports to the Program Financial Manager of the Radiology Department. Performs work under general guidance and supervision.

Work Environment:
• Multiple positions are available (50-100% FT) • Schedule is normally within the hours of 8a to 5p, M-F, but is not always fixed and workload does vary. The incumbent¹s first responsibility is to complete tasks rather than keep to a fixed schedule. Flexibility in schedule and intensity of work is necessary. • Position is suitable/eligible for hybrid telework • Some travel between sites may be necessary by UW Health Services shuttles.
