Blue Origin LLC EGSE Hardware Development Engineer III - Lunar Permanence in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will as a part of a small, multi-functional team, you'll help design, build, and commission Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for our lunar lander program, Blue Moon - https://www.blueorigin.com/blue-moon. You will design data acquisition systems and/or control systems specifically focused for testing space vehicle sub-assemblies. You will contribute to the team's progress by assisting in collecting customer specifications, creating electrical design packages, managing build activities through part procurement and vendor management, and supporting installation and activation of systems. Minimum Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline 5+ years of experience with industrial or aerospace control system and/or data acquisition design. Ability to design electrical systems using CAD based electrical schematic and panel layout tools (preferably AutoCAD Electrical). Demonstrate knowledge of instrumentation theory coupled with integration into data acquisition hardware. Prociency with electrical diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) to trouble shoot instrumentation and control circuits. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Preferred Qualifications: MS degree in Electrical Engineering. Design experience with three phase power distribution and power systems. Design experience in noise reduction, shielding, and analog and digital filtering to provide high fidelity measurements. PCB design experience (preferably using Altium) focusing on signal conditioning of high frequency instrumentation or digital circuit design. Software development in PLC ladder logic, LabVIEW, C++ or Python.
