Description

The Canada Seller Partner Recruitment & Success team is looking for a Business Analyst (BA) who will help us make effective decisions based on data from multiple sources, across Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing and Customer Success work-streams. The BA will own compiling data and triangulating it into a digestible and actionable format and dashboards. This will help us provide historic information on our business metrics, our customer metrics and make effective decisions for future.

The BA will create pipelines for reports to analyze data, make sense of the results and be able to explain what it all means to key stakeholders. This individual will analyze large amounts of data, discover and solve real world problems and build metrics and business cases around key performance of the Canada Seller Partner Recruitment & Success programs. The ideal candidate will use a customer backwards approach in deriving insights and identifying actions we can take to improve the customer experience and conversion for the program.

Key job responsibilities

Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format

Identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams

Design and develop automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions

Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.

Driving customer experience enhancement projects

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

  • 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 2+ years of business or financial analysis experience

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related technical or quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with QuickSight

  • Experience using very large datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
