Position Overview Serve as a strategic partner to the business leaders and employees supporting multiple locations. The people Generalist will play a vital role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, driving talent strategies, and fostering a positive work culture. Position Responsibilities Typical roles on a project included but not limited to: Collaborate with business leaders in multiple C&S locations to provide strategic HR guidance and support. Partner with management to assess and address HR needs, including talent requirements, performance management, Leave administration and employee engagement. Lead HR initiatives that support organizational objectives, including diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Coach and advise managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Serves as the subject matter expert for the leave of absence programs, to include interpreting and administering policies in accordance with applicable federal and state laws (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, PWFA, etc.) and company policy. Manage day to day HR activities with focus on leave administration, while maintaining healthy client relationships. Skills/Education/Experience Communicate and coordinate effectively with employees verbally and in writing. Interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels. Identify problems or irregularities for early resolution. Prepare a variety of comprehensive administrative and technical documents and reports. Prepare and deliver presentations to employees. Train employees in Human Resources policies and procedures. Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service. 2+ years experience in general human resources with leave administration knowledge. Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field from an accredited college or university. PHR and/or SPHR certification from SHRM or a college plus demonstrated years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
