LAMERS BUS LINES - WESTON Bus Aide in SCHOFIELD, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bus aides are responsible for providing assistance and support to the school bus driver in order to ensure the safety of all passengers. Duties include, but are not limited to: ensuring orderly loading and unloading of bus patrons; maintaining seating charts of riders and seeing to the safety and sanitation of the assigned vehicle. Bus aides monitor students with various needs until released to parent, teacher or instructional assistant and reports observations or incidents to appropriate personnel for their action. Assist disabled children or children with psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues with boarding and exiting the school bus. Buckle seatbelts or fasten wheelchair tie-down straps to secure passengers for transportation. Direct students boarding and exiting the school bus. Evacuate students from the school bus in emergency situations. Respond to students\' questions, requests, or complaints. Monitor the conduct of students to maintain discipline and safety. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements Required for pre-hire and random drug/ alcohol tests. Annual TB test. Criminal Background Checks.
