As Logistics Service Implementation Specialist (m/f/d) there is great opportunity and variety in activity day to day. You’ll develop, pilot, evaluate and launch a competitive range of logistics services in order to maintain and exceed customer expectations, while maintaining a clear focus on profitable growth of the business.
Location: Swiss office based (60%) Schlieren/Zurich and home office 40%
Regional scope: Switzerland
What you’ll do
Drive the implementation of logistics services
Plan project objectives and manage projects incl. execution of pilots, proof of concepts, benchmark performance vs. competition
Engage in dialogue with customers through meetings and on-site visits
Assess and evaluate customer demands and requirements for logistic services
Follow-up on customer opportunities and development of business cases
Actively participate in tender & contract management
Support business areas in logistics services by delivering knowledge, advice, trainings and best practice sharing
Provide technical support and ownership for delivered services
Manage deviations of logistics performance metrics

What you’ll need
3+ years of work experience in logistics at an international corporation; work experience in freight forwarding and logistics services is beneficial
University degree or equivalent education
Analytic mindset and strong process orientation
Self-starter and problem-solver, able to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in communication
Expertise in project management, ability to plan and prioritise multiple projects
Curiosity and ambition to professionally develop
Strong IT knowledge (Excel, SAP)
Full proficiency in English and German language mandatory
Willingness to travel within Switzerland to visit customers and support project implementation
