Data Center Services Procurement supports Data Center Global Services in obtaining the best services at the lowest costs, and manages the full “Supplier Lifecycle” including Strategic Sourcing and Intake, Onboarding, Solicitations, Spending and Transaction Policy (S&TP) Compliance, Contract management, Supplier Development, and portions of requisitioning and payment operations.

We are seeking a Procurement professional to support the Americas data center construction space.

As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you’ll be supporting procurement for data center construction categories.

Data Center Services Procurement (DCSP) Post Contract team supports Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) in obtaining the best services at the lowest costs. The Post Contract team is involved in purchase request and purchase order issuance, resolving matters related to invoice management and escalations whilst aligned with AWS’ Spending and Transaction Policy (S&TP), and all follow-on activities with Requisitioning and Payment Operations.

Key job responsibilities

• Ensuring operations procurement compliance

• Documenting operations scope and processes

• Become a subject matter expert on all systems and policies related to team programs

• Manage PR queues and intake workflows

• PO processes and resolving systems related issues

• Minimize invoice approval escalations and holds

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • 1+ years of supply chain experience

  • · Please submit your resume in English. English knowledge in an intermediate level as this is a role supporting Americas.

  • · Completed Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering

  • · 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • · 1+ years of supply chain experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
