The LATAM HSE Executive Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs in lens laboratories located in Latin American countries. This role involves ensuring compliance with all applicable local, national, and international regulations, driving continuous improvement in HSE performance, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.

Major Duties And Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for lens laboratories, aligned with the "Eyes on the Planet" program, Global HSE Policies and local regulations.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

• Lead the implementation and certification processes of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in Latin American laboratories.

• Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

• Monitor and interpret HSE regulations and standards in Latin America.

• Ensure facility compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations.

• Establish contact with regulatory bodies and represent the company in inspections and audits.

• Develop and deliver HSE training for all employee levels.

• Promote HSE awareness and practices.

• Lead HSE incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

• Develop and manage sustainability programs to reduce environmental impacts.

• Promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or related fields. Desirable postgraduate degree in the field.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• Experience in manufacturing or laboratory environments.

• Experience leading and implementing projects for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.

• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards in Latin America.

Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Availability to travel within the Latin American region.
