Description

We are looking for an efficient Accounting and Operations Coordinator to join our team based in Santa Rosa, California. This role entails a variety of responsibilities ranging from answering phone calls and processing orders to managing service desks and assisting with payroll. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and will be an integral part of our team, contributing significantly to the smooth running of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner

• Distribute incoming mail within the office

• Regularly check office supplies and process orders when necessary

• Assist in the creation of purchase orders and processing of material transfers

• Assist with Payroll procedures and management of the Service Desk

• Create work orders and assist in scheduling of customer service jobs

• Make collection calls for projects

• Schedule site surveys, solar/reroof installations with customers and set up inspections with cities & counties

• Assist with billings as needed and manage field new hire applications

• Perform other responsibilities as needed based on job function and industry requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Sage 300.

Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation procedures and methods

• Experience with accounts payable (AP) processes and systems

• Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) operations and principles

• Proven ability to handle billing tasks accurately and timely

• Strong data entry skills with a focus on details and accuracy

• Experience in invoice processing and resolving discrepancies

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup functions

• Knowledge of Sage 300 accounting software and its applications in financial operations

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Strong numerical skills and ability to work with large volumes of data

• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
