The Senior Manager, Thought Leader and Society Liaison is a compelling new role to amplify the OTTAVA Customer Engagement strategy! We invite you to be a part of ensuring launch success by crafting a diverse group of clinical / non-clinical opinion leaders globally! This leader will also define and implement the OTTAVA Society & Conventions strategy to build credibility and podium presence to pre-condition the market for a positive reception. This position reports to the Head, Market Enablement OTTAVA, and requires teamwork skills and partnership with product development, scientific affairs, sales, marketing, professional education, and the Polyphonic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve new AI-based tools to move from a reactive to proactive approach to Key Opinion Leader (KOL) identification to gain share of voice in the market.

  • Focus on emerging clinicians to increase diversity while building a network that supports and defines OTTAVA's value and innovation strategy for decades.

  • Partner with regional leaders and Scientific Affairs to create Ottava Evangelists to communicate a fair and balanced message both on the podium and in social media.

  • Build momentum via a coordinated strategy that combines a mix of discussions, displays, and customer engagements, crafting the foundation for a compelling reveal.

  • Heighten engagement with leadership from select global Societies setting the stage for launch.

  • Foster teamwork, diversity, and inclusion within team, between teams and other groups.

  • The role builds and champions a collaborative team culture and continuous team integration. The role encourages and provides cross-functional team member motivation and recognition.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of relevant sales, marketing, and/or thought leadership experience within a hospital or healthcare environment.

  • Bachelor’s/undergraduate degree, MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.

  • Experience Identifying, engaging, and enrolling new customers in a new product vision.

  • Proven ability to deliver an impactful presentation and manage follow-up communication with customers.

  • Possess strong intellectual curiosity and listening skills, with the ability to extract and relay the voice of the customer.

  • Strong technical expertise, business insight, critical thinking, and execution.

  • The ability to actively develop talent and culture to achieve results.

  • Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively.

  • Proven success in partnering and influencing across teams.

  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles and working on teams.

  • Proven comfort with ambiguity.

  • Up to 30% domestic and / or international travel required.

Preferred:

  • MedTech and/or surgical robotic experience

  • Prior experience working within an Operating Room (OR) environment strongly preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $166,000 to $267,145. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
