Applied Materials SENIOR MANAGER REVENUE ACCOUNTING - (M5) in Santa Clara, California
Key Responsibilities
Lead the identification and implementation of financial information required to comply with new and recurring US GAAP reporting rules
Leads a team that identifies and resolves potential reporting issues and works closely with affected finance areas to ensure proper accumulation of financial data to support the required disclosures
Leads a team that identifies and resolves transactions requiring special treatment in US GAAP financial statements. Provides expert advice on technical accounting issues including writing technical accounting interpretation memos.
Owns the preparation of forms and financial statements to be filed with the SEC
Overall ownership of the finance policies including drafting, implementation, interpretation and maintenance. Perform impact assessment and change management activities for new processes and the impact on existing finance policies. Lead the preparation and presentation of policy changes and manage Internal Business Controls Task Force. Lead the development, delivery and implementation of Policy Training.
Lead a team the provides monthly and quarterly close support
Lead the reconciliation of more complex or technically challenging balance sheet accounts
Lead a team that prepares quarterly schedules for external auditors
Identify areas of process improvements in core areas of responsibility and lead the changes needed.

U.S. Salary Range:
$148,000.00 - $203,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
