IT Systems Infrastructure team is responsible for building and maintaining the required systems and services that support the organization development work in both software and hardware teams.

This responsibility includes both application servers, development end systems and backend services such as storage and backup. A successful candidate will support development workflows and tools used for that, be able to maintain multiple flavors of Linux operating systems (i.e.: Red Hat, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, etc.) to support physical, virtual, and containerized systems.

The ideal candidate will exhibit the below Behavioral Traits:

  • Great collaboration and communication skills.

  • Complete tasks with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, Electrical Engineering, or related field including the following:

  • 5+ years' of experience in supporting various Linux OS flavors.

  • 1+ year of physical server hardware support experience (such as device installations, troubleshooting).

  • 1+ year of experience in CI/CD systems (such as Jenkins).

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years of experience in the following:

  • Enterprise class storage systems (such as NetApp).

  • Software-based storage clusters (such as Weka).

  • Network infrastructure and technologies (such as bridging, routing, TCP/IP).

  • Virtualization technologies (such as VMware, KubeVirt, LibVirt).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $99,487.00-$149,235.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
