Immediate Hirring For Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Press Operators. This role involves molding parts according to written specifications, operating presses efficiently, and ensuring high-quality production. This is an entry-level position that offers excellent training and growth opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Mold parts according to written specifications provided.

• Remove parts, clean tools, load the press with materials for the new cycle, and inspect the molded parts frequently.

• Place products in manufacturing tote boxes.

• Operate presses in an efficient and timely manner, meeting quality and quantity requirements.

• Ensure production rates are consistent with or exceed standard production levels.

• Provide accurate production information.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Eager and positive attitude.

• Mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Spanish speaking only is acceptable.

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.

• Willingness to learn and work hard.

Work Environment

The facility specializes in rubber parts for the aerospace industry and is equipped with numerous injection molding machines and hot presses. It operates under lean six sigma principles and maintains an extremely organized workspace. Although the machines can get hot, the facility is equipped with AC units to ensure a comfortable working environment. This is an ITAR facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
