Description We are in search of a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team in San Mateo, California. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and involves various responsibilities such as account reconciliation, handling accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The selected candidate will be a key player in our financial department, contributing significantly to our financial accuracy and transparency.

Responsibilities: • Utilize QuickBooks Online for data entry and financial tracking • Conduct regular account reconciliation tasks for vendors and clients • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity • Assist in the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting • Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls and verifying the accuracy of financial transactions • Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable Requirements • Bilingual (Spanish & English) • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role. • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations. • Familiarity with Bookkeeping principles and practices. • Strong Data Entry skills with attention to detail. • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting. • Experience in Month End Close procedures. • Familiarity with Payroll processing and related tasks. • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
