General Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of technical tasks related to system and application management, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The primary responsibility of this position is to support certification environments for applications, develop, oversight, continuously improve, and support internal development teams. You will be providing expert infrastructure oversight, ensuring successful delivery and performance of IT services for our internal clients and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service Levels Targets. This role will be a major stakeholder in the successful growth of our service offering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify the most appropriate options for the delivery infrastructure.

  • Verify the completeness of packages received and execution instructions.

  • Execute Release DB scripts as necessary and install Release packages.

  • Submit evidence of installation in tickets and provide support during certification.

  • Manage App Center tasks including user creation, deletion, and package uploads.

  • Perform ALM administration tasks such as user and project management, role assignments, and app license renewals.

  • Handle SSL Certificate renewals and AWS tasks related to Lambda installations, Api Gateway setup, and Secret Manager creation.

  • Conduct infrastructure tasks including creating firewall tickets, requesting SSL certificates, and coordinating backend synchronization with partners.

  • Maintain day-to-day operations by ensuring certification environments are available and troubleshooting any reported issues.

  • Perform environment maintenance tasks such as log cleaning, SSL certificate verification, and old backup deletions.

  • Synchronize environments with production releases as applicable.

  • Identify, deploy, and maintain appropriate connectivity options.

  • Support the Application Support team in dealing with critical incidents in the Managed Service environment.

  • Work closely with Cyber Security for the evaluation and implementation of solutions, changes on the infrastructure.

  • Contribute to the roadmap for the development and evolution of the infrastructure that is scalable for the future needs of the business.

  • Contribute toward design improvements that allow for more efficient support of the environment, applications, and clients.

  • Actively contribute to increasing the availability of our services by providing iterative improvements to existing infrastructure solutions.

    Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.

    Experience:

  • Proven experience in system engineering or a related field.

  • Familiarity with AWS services, ALM tools, and App Center management.

  • Ability to execute and troubleshoot database scripts and installation packages.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused attitude.

  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
