General Description

Analyzes business results and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists in the execution of the Division’s operational processes. Assist in the analysis of improvements of processes, systems and tools, including researching industry best practices. Executes on work plans, gathers and synthesizes relevant data, analyses, develops and supports the implementation of solutions.

• Advocates and actively participates in the Division's strategic initiatives and goals and encourage others to do the same.

• Assists in the preparation of the capacity analysis and continuously monitors the staffing of resources and the timely identification of resources needs.

• Supports, as needed, in the preparation of data and reports to be used by the management for the preparation of documents and additional materials to be included in the meeting package or in other committees.

• Supports the identification, tracking and reporting on key metrics for the Division that will better inform decision-making and evaluate opportunities to enhance existing reporting.

• Prepares reports and variance analysis to aid in the monitors the Division’s budget, focusing on controllable expenses, and prepares the monthly accrual and reclass entries, and the quarterly variances report. Propose cost control strategies.

• Completes on an annual basis the skill gap analysis to identify areas of opportunity for training.

• Completes on a quarterly basis the trainings monitoring analysis to ascertain that all employees are complying with the Division's core curriculum.

• Actively participates in the preparation and coordination of specific trainings for the Division's employees.

• Actively participates in the preparation and coordination of the Division's Staff Meeting presentations.

• Assists in the organization of the Group's corporate communication.

• Promotes the use of the Corporation’s communication channels (i.e. SharePoint, Teams, Forms, etc.).

• Assists in the documents and data gathering for regulator's and unit's requests.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations. Experience in audit is not required but it is preferred.

At least one (1) of the following certifications and/or licenses is recommended:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB)

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB)

  • Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP)

  • Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP)

Additional Requirements

  • Must be fully bilingual.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Process improvements mindset.

  • Knowledge of project management.

  • Knowledge of data analytics.

  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 Applications: Excel (intermediate to advanced), Power BI, Power Query, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
