General Description
- This position is responsible for consolidating and analyzing financial data. Administer internal System, controls,process, budget management and organizational structures. Assist in the preparation of reports andpresentations,identifying interdependencies and metrics. Perform numeric analyses using data analysis software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word and PowerPoint. Power BI is a plus.
Working with units' expenses, KPIs and projections.
Prepare and submit scheduled and ad hoc reports to division team and other stakeholders, such as RMC,ERM,auditors, among other.
Course work in Financial Mathematics, Financial Accounting, Probability, and Statistics.
Apply statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provideusable information.
Extensive interaction with internal and external stakeholders, such as: outside counsel, auditors, regulators,internal legal division team to gain a better understanding of scope of their requests.
Ensure compliance with related policies and procedures regarding matter management.
Excellent organization skills, able to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work underpressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to operate at all levels of management, with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills (in bothEnglishand Spanish).
Maintain, track and prepare monthly reports.
Identify trends and address potential areas of opportunities to achieve expected results.
Prepare presentations and documents summarizing requested information and any analysis completed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Industrial Enginering
Experience
- At least two years related experience in business analysis or project coordination.
Certifications / Licenses
Business Analyst Certification
PMP
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)
Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given,prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
Knowledge and skills in the analysis of financial information and accounting pronouncements.
Strong quantitative, research and analytics skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (word, excel, power point); experience in Cognos highly desirable.
Ability to balance a diverse set of duties, to set priorities and to meet deadlines while achieving results.
Ability to analyze data and create concise presentations tailored to each audience.
Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and internal clients.
Excellent verbal and written skills (in both English and Spanish).
